Vice President/Marketing & Business Development - Gary Levine

Gary Levine is Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Mercy Health Plans (MHP) a wholly owned subsidiary of the Sisters of Mercy Health System based in Chesterfield, MO. Gary joined MHP in April 2005 as Vice President, Business Development. From 2003-2005 he was Vice President Retail Marketing for Catalina Health Resource a subsidiary of Catalina Marketing based in St. Petersburg, FL. During 2002 Gary was Executive Vice President of Marketing & Business Development for Option Care a specialty pharmacy and home health care company based in Buffalo Grove, IL.  From 1995-2001 he was Senior & Executive Vice President of Marketing for Cardinal Health's Medicine Shoppe International (MSI) pharmacy franchising division. From 1990-1994 he was Vice President Managed Health Care for MSI. From 1985-1989 Gary was Vice President of Business Development for P.M. Systems a St. Louis based Pharmacy Management company. Gary received his B.S. in pharmacy from the University of Missouri. He has served two terms on the Board of Directors of the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP), as well as, Chairman of the association’s on-line real-time Drug Utilization Review (DUR) Work group.
